Evan had a fantastic time. He would be excited over every present. He was very patient actually as we did everyone's presents one at a time.

I have just finished watching Beethoven's Big Break with the family, and i must say that the dog we all know and love is back at his very best.
We found ourselves laughing all the way through! It is definitely a must watch if you remember and loved the other Beethoven movies.

One of my favourite times is when we can all sit down as a family, and watch a movie.
We have our own microwave butter popcorn, or sometimes nachos with a dip. Popcorn is my favourite though because i can feel like i'm really at the cinema then!
The type of movies we like to watch are the animated cartoon film ones or a comedy. Evan usually falls to sleep halfway through though for some reason! Then he ends up watching the other half the next day!
I think it is important to watch movies together as a family, rather then sticking the kids in front of the TV to watch cartoons.
I have always saw it as a learning point for my kids too. Their questions can get answered that they are curious about, and we can have fun laughing and guessing together too.

I have saw that alot of people have been showing their Christmas trees off, so i thought i would show mine too!
We managed to squeeze ours on our table in the corner this year, which we love because usually its stuck in the dining room hidden away!
We have got to get some lights though because when Evan was helping decorate he broke one of the bulbs in the lights, which unfortunately broke the whole thing!
We bought Evan a grabber machine! Yes like the real ones that grab the teddies, but this one grabs sweets instead!
It plays the fairground music and even has plastic coins for you to put in like you would do if playing for real.

And this is when he crashed out in his highchair again, but he must have been that tired this time, that he slumped out onto the feeding tray instead haha!

I have always liked the idea of being able to ski actually. I think it would be great once you get into it and try out all the different circuits.
You are always able to hire your ski wear at the resort also, so there is no need going out buying things you need, and probably come back with the wrong things, or worse not enough!
This way you know you have got everything you need, and you don't have to take it around with you and your luggage!

I absolutely love theme parks. In fact you could say it's almost like a hobby for me. I just want to visit more and more all the time!
Whenever i go on holiday i have to make sure that there is one there. It just puts more fun into your break! Well it does doesn't it!? Theme parks are for everybody not just the kids!
The are some great Wildwood attractions and roller coasters in New Jersey which is a fantastic place for a family vacation.
The park is called Morey's Piers, and is New Jersey's best attraction.
In total the park boasts three amusement piers, and two beachfront water parks over 6 gorgeous beach blocks.
You would find something there for every member of the family, adults or kids.
The Morey Pier's website is a great place to find all your hotels and Motels in Wildwood for your perfect Jersey Shore beach vacation too, so you don't have to spend time looking for places near to the park.

I have had pop up books in the past for my 4 year old Evan, which have been really basic and of poor quality to be honest.
Until he had this one called Ships by Robert Crowther
I must say i was amazed by not only the vast amount of pop up items, but you had the sliders, and little books that open out into maps.
The readership of the book is probably aimed more towards 6 years plus for them to be able read for themselves, but Evan enjoyed me reading to him and seeing everything in action.
It's a great book for learning the kids, and showing them what it's all about. I even learnt something myself too!
The surgery went well. I had a nose bleed when i woke up and my throat was and is still very sore.
I couldn't eat anything yesterday i felt sick with every bite, but today i have ate some normal food.
So i'm not in the best of states at the moment guys, so please forgive me if i don't stop by for a while, but i will be the end of the week :)
UPDATE (For Further days after the surgery)
As soon as you have the operation you probably find you might be sick (due to the tube being down your throat)
I didn't want to touch any food on that day. I didn't have no appetite and i simply couldn't :(
The next few days i could eat food in bits and chewing till it was mush, as it was hard for me to swallow. I wouldn't recommended drinking fizzy or spicy foods!
I found drinking alot of water helped. I was told to eat soup and icecream but only had an appetite for foods that i really fancied. Mine was Microwave meals lol !!
I could do normal things straight away, but i found i was too sore to talk for about 3 days so wrote everything down with pen and paper, so may be worth if you have small kids to get some help for first few days.
I was back up and running in a week.
