MAKING & USING CREAM IN COOKING

I am a huge fan of cooking and food in general really. Maybe that's why I cant seem to shift that last bit of weight. Oh well!

I like to try out new recipes but also like to make the toppings and accompaniments when I can too, instead of buying the supermarket instant brands.

You know such as the cream on your hot chocolate, the sauce on your desert, a creamy soup or even a creamy cocktail. And home made blends always taste better than the shop bought ones.

I saw that a Cream dispenser would be rather useful to help you blend those mixes together, then instead of trying to attempt to add on those finishing touches the dispenser will do it all for you hassle free and with no mess.

Sounds good to me. I remember a time when I cooked some fairy cakes once, and the icing turned out to be too runny and wouldn't sit on top for some reason. And that's just making basic fairy cakes that a child could make. If I used a Soda siphon I'm sure they would have been much better.

Thankfully I have moved on alot since then and have bettered myself over the years. I guess you have to when you have kids to look after. I cant have them living on frozen and microwave food every day now can I!

I do like the idea of adding cream to my meals though. It makes such a difference. You ever had a piece of chocolate cake at home or in a restaurant on it's own and thought there is something missing? Things like that really add that extra bit of flavour. Also soups and stews are nice with a dollop of cream on top.

Are you a fan of cooking yourself? And would you prefer to make your own cream or buy it ready made from the supermarket?

I used to like to cook, but I really really don't like it anymore. I'd much prefer someone else to cook or to eat cold food like raw veggies and fruit all the time... just 'cause I'm lazy. LOL... but I know the kids would eventually tire or that and breakfast for every meal.
