SATURDAY CENTUS: Captured

Jenny Matlock
This week the writing theme has been shook up a bit and instead of the usual prompt to work from we have a picture instead (see below) How exciting! So this is my story that was my first thought in my disturbing mind!:
A derelict cottage lay at the end of this beautiful garden that looked like it would be a perfect place for kids to pick their ideal pumpkin. But all was not as it seemed. The garden was walled all the way round apart from one iron door.

And inside the cottage a girl was being kept hostage. Unwrapping her blindfold the capturer took her to out to the porch way and pointed to the field.

"I tell you what, I am going to give you a chance. Inside one of these pumpkins is a key to the garden door. You have 5 minutes and this knife to find it. If you can I'll let you go and if you don't ...." the capturer paused leaving the girls mind to wonder.

oh man, 5 minutes will hardly get her into one of them. I do hope she picks the right one, though I have a feeling it is not in her cards this day.

I bet the little girl didn't even have a cell phone on her either. Poor girl. This was fun and scary.

This is fabulous! You are so creative! Write a book off of this one.

probably not the wisest choice of the kidnapper to hand over a knife to his victim. i know what i would do with that knife and it has nothing to do with those pumpkins!
